We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No site is beyond our reach.

Mobile Units are 6 to 24 control zones and completely self-contained with power generators, cables, resistance elements, thermocouples and instrumentation.

Our Field Technicians have been trained on the safe operation of the mobile units. A pre-trip inspection is done prior to the unit leaving the shop. All units are equipped with a buggy whip, beacon, first-aid kit and fire extinguisher.

Mobile Units

1. Vary from 75 (KW) to 300 (KW) mobile units.
2. 6 to 24  individual programmable control zones.
3. 150′ long secondary leads plus extensions capable of 300′ of working radius from unit.
4. Continuous calibration program.
5. Complete documentation and strip charts left with customer for permanent heat treating records.

Portable Consoles

Portable Consoles are 6 and 12 control zone and can be used anywhere there is an ample supply of primary power distribution (in-house or generator). They are compact, noise free and designed for work in confined areas. The 12-way expansion console can increase control zones without creating a larger footprint. They come equipped with castors and lifting lugs and can be rolled or hoisted into place.

Continental “Stress Commander” Consoles are also available. Multiple wireless connected portable consoles can be programmed, controlled and monitored simultaneously at a dedicated central “Command Centre” computer. Continental Stress Commander Consoles will reduce crew size by having one Technician operating multiple console stations, improve crew productivity, reduce “unproductive” chart monitoring time, help reduce NCR occurrences and provide continuous operation/monitoring of console work stations in hazardous environments (e.g., x-ray inspection, live plant operations, etc.).

1. 65 (KW) units with variable voltage settings of 220, 480 and 600 volts.

Our Heating Elements

Custom size and shape heaters are available in all voltages. Smaller heaters can be connected in series for standard voltages instead.

Standard 80V FCP Heaters have a surface area of 120 square inches and a thermal power of 3.6 KW with an electric current of 45 amps. Custom size and shape heaters can be made in all voltages. Smaller heaters can be connected in series for standard voltages.

High temperature heaters are available for any heat treating process up to 2300°F.

Channel Bank heaters are available for large/heavy wall pipe and vessel work.
